CHAPTER TEN CHAPTER TWELVE >>
Chapter Eleven
His bag was sling across his shoulders, as he walked slowly towards the room. Is he going to be there? Ryo wondered to himself. He slowly opened the door, and to realise that the room is empty. Nah, he's gone. He won't be around anymore. Ryo sighed, as he placed his bag onto the table. He always wonder, why does all the weird and funny things seemed to only happening to him? Shige, and Yamapi, and of course, that Koyama guy have totally forgotten about the younger boy existence. He don't understand, why is it only him who remembers him?
"Good morning, Ryo-chan!" Yamapi shouted, as he barged into the room, with his normal ruckus. It seemed that everything is normal. Ryo looked at the duo that walked in behind Yamapi. Oh, Ryo have never asked what on earth happened to Koyama. Ryo settled down on a roller chair, and he wheeled himself towards Shige and Koyama.
"Hey Shige, you have not told me anything about your little boyfriend over here,"
"Eh? What do you want to know about him?" Shige asked, his eyes widening.
"How.. how did he ended up in the other dimension?"
Shige looked down to his thighs. He then looked up, and faced towards Koyama. Koyama smiled to Shige, and gave him a nod. "He.. he was captured,"
"Captured?" Ryo and Yamapi questioned together. Yamapi have got interested, and settled down in a chair beside Ryo.
"Yea, it seems like.. there's something going on at the other side of the dimension, and.. it seemed like people are getting arrested or something,"
Koyama nodded his head. This time, Koyama spoke. "I was born here, this is where my world is. I don't understand why i was chosen. It was.. it was that day.." his voice trailed off, as his eyes diverted to Shige. Shige looked up and interlaced his hands with Koyama's. Ryo observed, but continued to remain oblivious as he waited for Koyama to continue.
"There was this time when i was waiting for Shige, and suddenly, my mind turned blank. I could hardly even do anything. And then, and then, something came into me. It was a voice. It was saying, come to me, come to me. I didn't know where i was heading to, all i knew was, i was being forced to walk. I tried resisting it, but i just can't help it,"
"And then, Shige came. He ran towards me, frantically shouting for my name. That was when i regained my conscious. But, when i looked around me, everything was black, and Shige was like.. so .. far away from me. I tried to reach out for Shige's hand, but i just couldn't reach it, even though, it looks like so near,"
Koyama's hand tightened the grip. He looked at Shige, and then he continued again. Ryo was listening intently, Yamapi was getting nervous.
"When i woke up, i found myself in the dungeon. A figure was right at the cellar door. I demanded her to let me go, and all she said was, 'I've chosen you to be my prisoner, you're forever mine,' I of course shouted back at her. I asked, 'who are you, where am i, why am i here,' All she replied was, 'You're in my dimension, and everything you're seeing here is an illusion, so.. you're going to be forever here, if you're always this lost, little boy,' and.. she vanished."
"And, after that, you guys should know about everything, I guess.." Koyama finally stopped. Ryo looked at him, "Oh, so... that's why Tegoshi found you in the cellar.." Ryo mumbled to himself.
"Tegoshi? Who's Tegoshi?" Yamapi asked, his eyes looking into Ryo's. Ah, crap, i forgot they forgotten about Tegoshi.
A knock on the door was heard. Ryo went to open the door, and right at the door, was that older boy. Not older than him, but older than Tegoshi. "Yo, sorry that I'm late," Ryo shaked his head, and stepped to the side to allow the older boy to walk in.
"Morning, Masuda!" Shige greeted. Masuda looked at Shige, and smiled. He then settled down in the single sofa chair. "So, what's up?" Masuda asked. Ryo looked at Masuda, "Nah, we're just getting to know about Koyama's dimension stuffs, nothing to worry about," Masuda just nodded his head.
Yamapi realised there's nothing much to talk about, thus, he went over to his study desk, and do his homeworks. Masuda then stood up, and went to Ryo's side, and whispered into his ears, "Are you free now? I've something to talk to you about,"
The both boys stepped out of the club room, and went to the rooftop. The place where Ryo last saw Tegoshi. The wind was blowing so strongly, and it brought back memories on that day.
Three months. Tegoshi have been gone for three months. When is he going to come back? Ryo's heart was about to shatter, and it really hurts him alot, and alot.
"I.." Ryo mumbled, and he turned around to face Masuda. "I think, I like Tegoshi,"
Masuda looked at him, with his hands inside the pockets of his jeans. He slowly walked over to the fence, he grabbed the pole. "Ne, Ryo-kun, could you tell me what happened on that day?"
Ryo looked up the sky, as dark clouds started to loom past the once bright and clear blue sky. Ryo sighed, "Mm, I don't mind,"
"TEGOSHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII" Ryo's voice echoed through the whole school compound. As he tried to rush up to grab hold of Tegoshi's hand, it was too late. He witnessed Tegoshi fell down straight from the rooftop all the way down, when suddenly, a black hole opened below Tegoshi, and he fell in straight, and he disappeared. Ryo's eyes widened as he fall back onto the ground. Yamapi was fainted onto the ground. Ryo rushed over and waked Yamapi up. Why did he even faint at such a crucial timing? Is Yamapi so weak?
"Ryo..Ugh, my head hurts," Yamapi grumbled.
"Come on, let's go, we need to inform the others what happened to Tegoshi.." Ryo said, as he got up and walked away. The next sentence that came to him, shocked him a big life.
"Tegoshi? Who?" Yamapi asked. Ryo turned back, and looked at Yamapi. "Pi? It's.. first year? Don't tell me you can't remember his name?"
"Huh? Wait Ryo, what are you talking about? What first year? What Tegoshi? Who is that, your friend?"
Every word coming from Yamapi is still making Ryo nervous. His eyebrows etched as he thought to himself, 'Yamapi forgotten about Tegoshi? Is it because he went to another dimension? Does.. that means that.. Tegoshi's disappearing from everyone memories?'
Ryo walked away, leaving Yamapi on the rooftop. No, this is not happening. Everything is so not real. He walked away, his pace increasing everytime, when a tap on his shoulder is felt. "What do you--" the person in front of him, made him have another shock for the day.
"Yo, I.."
"Massu!? Why.. are you back here?" Ryo asked. No, why are all these things all happening at a time!? "Don't you want to see me? Or that, you've gotten Tesshi, thus you don't want me to come back?" Massu joked. Ryo's face remained stagnant. "Tegoshi.. Tegoshi disappeared.."
"What was with the thing you mentioned? Tesshi disappeared?!" Massu shouted into Ryo's face. Ryo's head was facing down, as he faced up. When he was about to explain, Yamapi came by. "Ryo? Who's this? New member?" Massu looked at Ryo. Ryo understood what he meant. Why is that Yamapi couldn't remember Massu? He have seen him before, right?
"Ah, yes. He's.."
"I'm Takahisa Masuda. Nice to meet you, please guide me along," Masuda stood up, and bowed down to greet Yamapi.
"I'm Tomohisa Yamashita, nice to meet you too!" Yamapi replied, as he forcefully came, and dragged Masuda away, without allowing Ryo to explain everything.
"And so, all you saw was Tesshi falling into the deep black hole?" Masuda asked again, his grip onto the pole tightened as Ryo said every word. It was too hard to comprehend all these facts at a time, it was difficult for Ryo as well. Ryo nodded his head, which Masuda definitely can't see with his back facing Ryo. He turned towards Ryo, and grabbed him by his wrist. "Let's go and find a way to get Tesshi back,"
With his hands chained up, there was no freedom of movement at all. Tegoshi sighed, as he looked around the room. Was this how Massu spent the few years around here? Tegoshi shooked his head. It's fine. As long as Massu is alive, it doesn't matter how terrible my life is anyway. Tegoshi picked up the letters on the desk and read the letters. A smile appeared onto his face.
Dear Massu,
I love you. I love you. I love you.
Yuya
He couldn't believe how romantic and cheesy he was. He laughed at his own silliness. He placed the letter onto his chest, as he felt his own heartbeat beating fast. He smiled. He could feel the happiness that Massu have felt when he read this letter.
A gush of wind came, blowing all the letters towards the window. Tegoshi's heart skipped. He wanted to catch the letters, but he was late. The only letter he had left was the one on his chest. He knew it was her. That woman, who threatened to kill Massu. He hurriedly folded the letter and put it inside his pocket.
"Tegoshi, have you been a good boy today?" the woman's voice was heard. Tegoshi snorted, as he turned away. The woman got pissed up, as she rised her hands, and a fire was started, burning all the letters that have flew to her side. Tears welled up in Tegoshi's eyes as he saw the letters got burned away. "Stop it! Why are you doing this!?"
The woman stopped, leaving the ashes and bits of burned papers all around the room. She raised up her hands once again, and this time, a powerful force came towards Tegoshi, slamming him against the wall. He hit his head, and his hand got bruised by the impact.
"Why, you're asking me? Because, I need you!" the woman screamed, and followed by that was her hilarious laugh. And, she disappeared.
"I've managed to survive this day again. It's a good thing she only stopped by once a week.." Tegoshi mumbled to himself, as he tried to pick himself up. The impact was huge, and he was hurting all over his body. Tears of pain flowed down from his eyes, as he staggered himself to the chair. He gazed at the burnt papers all around the room. He touched the letter inside his pocket.
"Massu, I ... I'm missing you.. so much,"
