Chapter Two

"What are you even doing here!?" Yamada hissed at Yuto after he placed the orders down onto the table. Yuto hurriedly clipped a takoyaki and chunked it into Yamada's mouth. "Hehe, I like to see Yama-chan in your cafe uniform, you look so cute!" Yuto mumbled to Yamada. This made Yamada blushed abit, before he looked at Riko, who was quietly eating her waffle ice-cream. Yamada choked before he faced Yuto and said, "Please enjoy your food, customer, if you do excuse me," Yamada then walked away.

He placed the tray back onto the counter and sighed. "Yama-chan, what's wrong?" A worried lady in her thirties came over, after she heard Yamada sighing to himself. Yamada looked up, "Ah! Oka-san, nothing much, just.." he stopped, turned back, and looked at Yuto. He turned back again, "I feel bad,"

The lady looked towards where Yamada glanced. Immediately, she chuckled slightly. "Ah! Our Yama-chan is in love!" Yamada looks up, and sighed. The lady then smile. "Yama-chan, it's okay. I understand. You feel that you've let Yuto-kun down for being close with that girl? Don't worry, Yuto-kun will understand," as she patted Yamada's shoulder.

Yamada looked up, as he saw his mother walking back into the kitchen. "You're right, oka-san, but it's just that, I feel I've let Takasugi-san down, not Yuto.." he muttered, as he slowly peeped behind once again.

Yuto was smiling to himself as he gobbled down his takoyaki. Riko kept quiet the whole time. "Riko, what's wrong?" Yuto asked. Sometimes, Yuto is being bad at reading situations.

Riko looked up, and shaked her head. "No.. Nothing Yuto-kun! Don't.. don't you have work today?" Riko asked. Yuto shaked his head. "Nope! If only I have work ne..." Yuto stopped, and looked at Riko, who have just heard what he had said. He hurriedly continue, "Nono! Of course I want to accompany Riko, but work is fun too, ne!" He then hurriedly chombled down his takoyaki. Riko looked at him, as she felt her heart breaking.

"Aiko-chan, what should i do?" Once Riko reached home, she hurriedly called Aiko for help. She's bad at relationship, and after all it's her first time meeting in such a situation.

"Why not ask Nakajima how does he feel about you? Doesn't it makes it more direct?" Aiko replied. Sometimes, she just can't stand Riko's shy nature, it always makes thing much more difficult to settle.

"Eh... Ask him?"

"Yes, ask him, Riko-chan,"

"Ah... Alright, I'll try.." Riko mumbled. Silence. Riko then speaked again. "How about you and Chinen-san? I heard things are doing great between both of you!"

"Shut up, Riko. There's nothing between us," Aiko retorted. Her voice sound pissed off.

"Wait, don't tell me you're reading it again?"

"Yea.." Aiko's voice got softer. "Stop reading it! You need to snap out of it, Aiko!" Riko adviced, "There's no use clinging on the past when he doesn't likes you anymore!"

"....."

"Aiko!"

"I know, Riko. I just, need time,"

"Fall in love, let yourself fall in love! How.. How about Chinen-san! He's good right? And plus, thanks to us being transfer students, he's older than us by one year!" Riko giggled at her silly advice.

"Riko, I'm not ready for a new relationship," Aiko replied, her voice stern, serious, and sad.

"But, it have been one year already!"

"That's it, I'm putting down, Goodnight," Aiko finally said. "Aik--" Before Riko could continue, the beeping sound of the other end could be heard. Riko then throw her phone onto her bed, and sighed. "AHHH! I feel vexed!" She ruffled her own hair, before slumping onto her bed, and think of the other things tomorrow.
