Author's Note: It's my first yamajima fanfiction, with me and riko-chan starring in it !

<< CHAPTER EIGHT                                                                                               CHAPTER TEN >> 

"Taka--" Chinen attempted to call Riko, when Riko continued walking, while she started screaming, "Shut up! Don't talk to me now!" Chinen insisted, as he run forward, to stop Riko from walkling any further. He glanced up, to realize Riko's face was tear-stained. Riko then plunged to the ground, hugging her knees. 

"Why did Yuto treated me like this? I thought that .. i thought that I could just .." her voice echoed away. Chinen shook his head, as he sat onto the ground, beside Riko. "Ne, Takasugi-san, did you know it for like.. very long already?" 

Riko raised up her head, and nodded slightly. "Yea, it's obvious. In the first few months that we're dating, he was practically keep visiting Yamada's cafe. I felt something fishy around there, it's like... he wanted Yamada to feel irritated or something, or something," Chinen looked up to the sky. "Before you and him got together, they both have already love each other for very long," Chinen paused and looked at Riko. Riko by then was paying full attention to Chinen.

"They're just been oblivious to each other feelings, I guessed Yuto accepted your confession was to hope that maybe been with you might help him to forget his feelings for Yamada, perhaps.." he stopped, and looked up to the sky, "Yamada is bad at expressing his feelings, and Yuto is a harsh person, I guess," 

Riko turned away. "I know that," she mumbled, "I'm not called a Nakajima Yuto fan for nothing," 

Chinen laughed at that phrase, before he stood up. He stretched out his hand, to help Riko up. Riko looked at that hand, "If Aiko is around, i wonder what she will think of this situation, that girl, always think so much," Chinen giggled. "Aiko-chan is not that sort of person, Takasugi-san," Riko laughed, before stretching out her hand as well, to reach out for Chinen's hand. "Thanks, Chinen-san," 

"I don't think you just happen to be around, ne?" Riko stood up, slapping her clothing, clearing off the dusts. Chinen scratched one of his cheek, as he started to look around. He feel so weird asking Riko about this. In anyway, will she even tell him?

"Yea, I came to find you," Chinen replied. Riko widened her eyes, and teasingly, "You miss me?!" She shouted, as she faked her action to a very shocked expression. Chinen widened his eyes, and shaked his head vigorously . "NO!!!! I AM HERE TO ASK YOU ABOUT AIKO-CHAN!" 

"Fufu.." Riko covered one of her mouth. After her break-up with Yuto, she seemed to be more cheerful, outgoing, not the usual shy and sweet girl anymore. Was that the side effect of the break up, or that this was her original character?

"And? What do you want to know about her?" Riko asked, as she started to walk in circles around Chinen. 

"I.. I want to know about her past," 

Riko stopped in her tracks. She glared at Chinen. When it comes to Aiko, she's definitely attentive. "What do you want to know?" 

"About her and .. Saito Hiroyuki," 

"How..  How do you know about him!?" Riko practically shouted. Chinen realised that in Riko's eyes, hatred could be seen so clearly. "Aiko-chan and I saw him yesterday, outside.. outside the karaoke, and.. she went off with him. Later, I was searching for Aiko-chan, when I saw her crouching at the side, her whole body drenched, shivering," Chinen's eyes felt with misery. He felt so helpless. 

Riko clenched her first tightly, before punching the bark of the tree that was beside her. "Damn it, why is that jerk doing in Japan!?" 

"What happen, Takasugi-san?" Chinen asked once again. Riko ignored him, and continued asking. "Where is Aiko?" Chinen said, "I didn't see her in school, probably she's home. Yesterday when I got your number from Yuto, and was about to call you, then, Aiko-chan woke up, and she said she's fine being alone," 

Riko widened her eyes. "Chinen-san, I'll talk to you soon, I sweared. Help me apply leave for me and Aiko," Riko rushed off, with Chinen looking at her figure. Riko fished out her phone, and while running, she keep dialling onto Aiko's phone. Aiko, please don't do that again..!

Riko knows that when it comes to the Saito Hiroyuki, Aiko always get emotionally unstable. Aiko had a hard time convincing her parents to allow her to come to Tokyo to study, and Riko's parents too. After escaping from Singapore, and coming to Tokyo to start a new life, and that jerk appeared in front of Aiko?!  What the hell is this, why is everything bad falling onto Aiko!? 

Riko stopped. She looked back onto the road, she's not that bad afterall. Afterall, she got that one year of memories with Yuto, at least, he really did tried to treat her good, but.. what about Hiroyuki?  All he did was hurting Aiko time and time again, after Aiko forgives him everytime. 

Riko continue running, and continue dialling Aiko's phone.

That jerk! Why did he appeared, and made Aiko's heart wrecked in and out once again? Why did he even came here? Riko then suddenly thought, 'Don't tell me he had a motive around? That brother of mine, he.. he's always up to no good!' 

Riko banged onto Aiko's apartment door. "Aiko! Open up! Aiko!" 

The click of the door knob could be heard, and what revealed behind the door, was a fragile and weak Aiko. Once she opened, she managed to force a smile, before falling down. Riko caught her in the nick of the time. Just then, Riko saw a slight cut on Aiko's wrist, with a little red liquid flowing out. Riko cursed and sweared. 

"Saito Hiroyuki, I'll definitely kill you,"
