<< PROLOGUE                                                                                   CHAPTER TWO >>

The sun was shining in quite brightly, as both of them got out of their respective apartment at the same time. "Sugihara-san!" Riko called out, when she looked to the side and saw that Aiko was just closing her apartment door. "Takasugi-san! Good morning," 

Both of them slowly walked down the street together. 

"So, where are you heading to?" Riko asked, as she looked at Aiko, as she was going through her iphone. "Oh, I'm heading to Horikoshi High School," Aiko replied, as she looked up, and turned her head around. Riko stopped in her track, and suddenly attacked Aiko. "Are you serious!?" 

Aiko widened her eyes, and nodded her head. Riko screamed, as she hugged Aiko into her embrace. "I'm going there too! We're schoolmates!" 

Aiko screamed the next moment, and they was dancing around on the street like mad girls. 

"Sugihara-san, I know we don't know each other well, but can I call you Aiko?" Riko suddenly asked, when they was nearing the high school. Aiko smiled, and just gladly nodded her head. 

"Yuyan, you waited long?" a boy called out, and the older boy turned around to look. The younger boy smiled, and hooked his hands around the arms of the older boy. The older boy patted the younger boy's head, as they entered the school compound. "Not long for you, Chii," 

"Excuse me, may I know where is the administration office?" a voice was heard, and the two boys have turned around. Facing them, was two girls. 

"You guys are...?" the older boy stammered, as his eyes was fixed on the younger girl of the both. "Um, my name is Takasugi Riko, and she's Sugihara Aiko. We're transfer students," 

Aiko just nodded her head slightly, and gave a quick smile at the younger boy. His heart thumped for a second. "Oh, my name is Takaki Yuya, and he's Chinen Yuri," he stopped, before he answered the girls, "Just walk straight from here, and turn left, and you'll see it," 

"Thanks!" Aiko beamed, as she turned around and walked away, her hand was on the strap of her bag. Riko was bowed down, and followed after Aiko. Takaki looked down to his boyfriend, and flicked his forehead. "Chii, what's wrong?"

"They're cute, both of them," Chinen sounded, as he looked up. Takaki smiled, and placed his hands around Chinen's shoulders, "Yea," Both of them walked off towards their individual lessons. 

"So... to confirm again, Sugihara-san, Takasugi-san,your classes will be the same, 2-D" the clerk replied, as she took the form, and stamped onto it. She stood up, and shake both of the girls' hands. "Welcome to Horikoshi High school, we hope you will have a fun high school life here," 

Both of the girls grinned at each other, as the clerk brought them towards the direction of their classroom. The clerk called the teacher who was inside the classroom. They spoke for a few minutes, before the clerk left the two girls with the teacher. The teacher smiled, and came towards them. "So you're both transfer students? Please do the introduction of yourself later alright?" 

She seems friendly, Riko thought. 

No harm done, I guess, Aiko thought.

"Class! Please listen up," the teacher announced as she entered the classroom, to get the attention of the students. All of them stopped talking, and turned to look at the teacher. "Today, we're glad to welcome two transfer students in! Come in," the teacher spoke, as she faced towards the door. The door was opened slowly, and two girls entered the classroom. The class was silence. 

The girl with long dark brown hair, and bangs spoke first. "I'm Takasugi Riko. I'm sixteen years old. Nice to meet you!" 

The other girl shyly lowered her head, before she looked up. Her long brownish-red hair flowed down her shoulders, and she smiled. "My name is Sugihara Aiko. I'm sixteen too! Nice to meet you!" 

"Teacher! What are the sixteen years old doing in our class?!" a boy have spoken up. The teacher cleared her throat, and started explaining. "Both of them have relied on their special talents to enter the school, also the fact that they speak fluent English, that explains the reason for their skipping of grade," 

"Alright, Sugihara-san, you can go sit at the empty seat beside Yamada-san. Takasugi-san, you can go sit at the empty seat beside Nakajima-san," the teacher have now turned to her back, and started to write on the blackboard words. Riko and Aiko faced each other, and gave a disappointing look. They was separated, and was unhappy. 

"Hello, my name is Yamada Ryousuke, nice to meet you," the boy beside Aiko have started to speak to her. Aiko faced to the boy, and nodded her head. "Nice to meet you, Yamada-san," 

"Takasugi-san right? My name is Nakajima Yuto, nice to meet you," the boy beside Riko whispered, and smiled at her. She smiled back, "Hope we'll get along ne, Nakajima-san," 

The notes from the piano was heard from the classroom very softly, but Aiko was able to caught every single one of them. "Teacher, may I go to the toilet?" 

Riko sensed something was wrong, and she sneaked out behind Aiko. Yuto and Ryousuke, thinks that something was interesting, and they followed behind. Who cares that they will get into trouble? 

Aiko walked towards the sound of the piano, and she saw an empty classroom, with a piano inside of it. She glanced around, and make sure no one was around. Slowly, she pulled out the seat, and opened the board. She placed her fingers onto the piano, and closed her eyes. The other person who was playing the piano notes was coming into her mind slowly. Her fingers moved to the rhythm, and she was perfectly in sync with that person. 

Riko widened her mouth in awed, and she just stood there. Walking towards to the other piano sound, she looked inside the classroom, and the one who was playing the other piano was none other than the boy that they met this morning.
