Summary: When the right one meet each other, it'll be yours. "Hey, don't get so cocky just because you're dating with Ryousuke-sama!" the girl shouted as she shoved the other girl towards the wall. With visibe tears surfacing in her eyes, the girl gritted her teeth and shaked her head. "I... I didn't think of that at all..." she whimpered, as she fiddled with her fingers. "Oh really, in anyway, I don't see you better than me though. In terms of looks, I'm so much better. In terms of status, I'm definitely higher than YOU!" the same girl sneered, before she walked over, took a plastic cup, and filled it with water. She then walked over, and poured it over onto the girl's head. "Remember, I'm always the ultimate winner. I'm Erino Nanasumi," she laughed, before she exited the toilet, along with her other friends. The girl fall to the ground, and just then, she felt a force holding onto her. Glancing up, she saw it was her best friend, Takasugi Riko. "I'm sorry, Aiko, I came in too late.." before Riko could finish her sentence, Aiko stopped her. "It's okay! You didn't expect such things to happen as well," Aiko continued wiping her hair with her handkerchief, and smiled. "I'm fine. Dating with Ryo-chan, I've expected all these to happen, don't worry, ne!" Riko smiled bitterly, before she lowered her head. "Anyway, how's you and Yuto-kun?" Aiko broke the silence, and looked at Riko, who was blushing furiously. "EH!? Me... and Yuto!? We're... fine!" "Really? Tell me, did he hold you? Or... kiss you!? Did Yuto-kun's fans did what they did to me to you!?" Aiko stressed on the last point. "No! Yuto's fans are more... friendlier. They cried and told me to cherish him lots, and treat him the best that I could," "Ah!" Aiko sighed, as she swinged her legs. "Riko-chan, of course you won't get hated! You're the vice-chairman of the student council! You, Ryo-chan, and Yuto-kun are like the angels of the school! With Yuto-kun as the president, you as the vice-head, and Ryo-chan as the secretary!" "Aiko-chan, you're also one of the committee!" Riko grabbed onto Aiko's hands. Aiko laughed, and smiled. "No! I'm just a member! Plus, my grades are not great. Three of you are always competing for the first place in the cohort. Compare to me? I'm just a Number thirty," "You're clever!" Riko said again. "If I'm clever, I'll get ten or even the top five during last semester. But I got a thirty! Yuto-kun got first, and then Ryo-chan got second, while you got third!" Aiko sighed, and gazed up to the sky. "It's kind of depressing ,ne?" "I'm sorry," Riko said, before she turned away, and lowered her head. Aiko patted her shoulders, and giggled. "It doesn't matter! As long as I have Ryo-chan beside me, I think everything is going to be just fine.." Riko used her fingers to cover her mouth. "I guess so," before she let out a few giggle. "LOOK! IT'S YUTO-SAMA, RYOUSUKE-SAMA, AND RIKO-SAMA!" the other girls started to squeal. That day, three of them have a committee meeting, and Aiko was to attend her photography club. "THE THREE OF THEM LOOK SO GREAT TOGETHER!" one of the girls started whispering again. "Do you think Ryosuke-sama likes Riko-sama?" "It won't be a surprise!" Aiko, who was just coming round the corner, gazed at the three of them who was inside the clubroom. She grabbed the hem of her shirt. Who was she to be compared to the three of them? In everybody's eyes, she's just a commoner. Yes, a commoner compared to three of them, even though four of them are childhood friends since young. "Um, so please make sure to do all the things we've instructed you guys," Yuto added as he picked up the document on the table, and glanced through it once again. Ryousuke then came by, and added in. "Further more, please start to prepare for the school festival as the next thing we'll be discussing will be the location each classes and clubs that are going to be located at," "Try to bring in a draft by next week, so that we can really discuss them," Riko stressed, before she tidied up all the notes on the table. "If there's nothing else, we'll see you guys next week," Yuto finally ended the meeting. While every member passed by, they all bowed down, and said goodbye to three of them. Riko finally sighed, and tidied up her hair. "Today's meeting was long!" Yuto then placed his arm around Riko's shoulders. "Oh well, great work today," he paused, and looked at Ryousuke. "And to you to, Yama-chan~" "Stop calling me that," Ryousuke retorted, before he hammered Yuto's head. "Ryo-chan, didn't Aiko said where will she meet you?" Riko asked, before she took out her cellphone to look. "It's so late already, and she's not here yet," Ryousuke took his phone to look, but he didn't even receive a message from Aiko as well. "Something's wrong..." Riko stopped, before she lightly smacked her palm with her fist. "Don't tell me that whoever is the source again?!" "Who?" this time, Yuto was the one that was curious. Yuto grabbed his bag, and Ryousuke followed. Without saying anything, Riko hurriedly rushed out of the classroom. "Aiko didn't want you guys to know, so I didn't really told you all," Riko said, pacing her steps faster. "But she was been bullied by some of the upper-classman!" "Why!?" Ryousuke this time shouted. "Because she's dating you," Riko said, as she slightly felt kind of pissed. Turning round the corner, she heard shouting, and whistling. Riko, Yuto and Ryousuke looked at each other, before they walked up. Right there, they saw someone in the middle, and with students all surrounding her in a circle. The person was on the floor, and a bunch of girls was laughing, and swearing at her. Ryousuke's name was mentioned. "I don't understand why would Ryousuke-sama accept such a commoner like you!" the girl said, as she rolled her eyes, and letting out her hands. Ryousuke clenched his fist, while Yuto, was was beside him, have placed his hands onto his shoulders. Quietly, three of them stood behind the crowd, and continued listening. A boy at the side have lifted up a pail of water, and poured it over onto the person's body. The person's spectacle's and clothing were wet, and dirty. "Oh, this isn't just normal tap water my dear. It's the dirty water that the cleaners used!" she burst into laughter, and the crowd followed. The girl gritted her teeth, and lowered her head. "Look yourself in the mirror! You're a toad, with a prince! If you're saying who is more suitable, shouldn't it be me?" the girl talked in her high pitch tone. Riko's eyes started to surface tears, and Yuto saw them. He draw back his hands that were on Ryousuke's shoulder, and grabbed onto Riko's arm instead. "Ri-chan, let me settle this, if I don't let it out..." Ryousuke pulled Riko away from Yuto, and Yuto just waved his hand, a gratitude of thanks to Ryousuke. "Yuto-kun... he's bursting.." Riko mumbled, wiping her slight tears track in her eyes. Yuto barged into the crowd, and some people have noticed him. "It's... It's Yuto-sama! IT'S YUTO-SAMA!" they shouted. The girls in the middle started turning back, and the girl on the floor have grabbed even tighter onto her shirt. Reaching to the middle, Yuto bended down, and helped the girl up. "Aiko-chan, you alright?" Aiko just nodded her head. Yuto stood up, and his head lowered, as he turned to the crowd. "Who did this?" he asked. Nobody responded, and then he asked again. "Who did this?" Silence. The third time. "Who did this?" Silence, but slight whispering could be heard. "WHO IS THE BASTARD WHO DID THIS!?" Yuto screamed, making some of the girls to cover up their ears. "Yuto-kun!" Aiko hurriedly stopped him, by grabbing his arm. "I'm fine, so... it's okay," Yuto pushed down Aiko's hand, and smiled to her. "Aiko-chan, it's alright, just leave it to me," "Nakajima Yuto," a voice sounded, and everybody turned. It was Erino Nanasumi. "Ryousuke-sama is so much better than you! I don't understand why are you even the head president, and not Ryousuke-sama!" the girl glared at Yuto, before she sniggered when she look at Aiko. "This girl over here is not suitable to be with MY Ryousuke-sama," The other friends behind nodded their head. "Only Erino-sama is suited to be with Ryousuke-sama!" they said in unison. Erino laughed out, before she turned a few turns. "Oh well, I'm the school beauty of the beauty, so even if Ryousuke-sama is far away from me...!" she said, as she looked at Yuto, "I'll still love him!" Mutterings could be heard from the crowd, and the next moment, was a path opened. Right walking it down, was Ryousuke, and Riko beside him. They were like the sunshine. "It's Ryousuke-sama!" "Riko-sama is here too!" "Oh my gosh! The trio is gathered!" "How wonderful!" "Aiko-chan!" Riko rushed over to where Aiko was standing, and started taking out her handkerchief to clean Aiko up. "I'm sorry that we came so late," Riko apologized. One guy who was looking at the two girls, and she caught his eyes. She flashed her angellic smile, and the guy toppled down. "I could have die from happiness~" the guy went. "RYOUSUKE-SAMA!" Erino screamed, as she attempted to pounce onto Ryousuke, when he shifted his position. Tapping onto Yuto, Yuto stepped aside. Glancing up, he glared at Erino. "I heard you have a problem with me?" "Nothing of such thing!" Erino said, interlocking her hands together. "To me, I just like Aiko-chan the way she is. If any of you guys got a problem, come to me, not harassing Aiko behind my back," Yuto shake his head. "There there, Yama-chan cool character is coming," "Understand!?" Ryousuke hissed. Erino blinked her eyes, and daydream in front of Ryousuke. "Anything for you, Ryousuke-sama!" "Aiko-chan..." Riko muttered. Ryousuke attempted to grabbed onto her, when Aiko have turned and ran off. How could such a lowly life like me don't know my place? "AIKO!" Ryousuke screamed, as he attempted to run after Aiko, when Yuto have grabbed onto his arm. "Yama-chan! Don't!" Yuto stopped him. "YUTO! Let me go! I want to go after Aiko! LET ME GO!" he screamed again. "YAMA-CHAN! PLEASE! DON'T BE LIKE THIS!" Yuto shouted out, and it made Ryousuke to stopped resisting. "Please... just.. leave her alone," Yuto said, before he hugged Ryousuke from the back. Riko looked at the two best friends, and she clenched her fist tightly. Why did Yuto gave such a forlorn face? Aiko ran all the way down the staircase, and giggling were heard on her way down. How I wish I could just hide my face right away... Aiko ran up all the way to the rooftop, and stood there. "Why, I wonder, do I always seemed so far away from Riko-chan, and Ryo-chan.. and Yuto-kun?" "Who's there?" a voice was sounded, and Aiko have turned around to look at the person. "Sugihara?" the voice replied. Aiko looked at him, and widened his eyes. "Ko... Ko..bayashi-san..." her voice stuttered, before she backed off slightly. The guy walked over to her, and shake his head. "Seriously, ignore the rumors please. I'm just a normal student," Aiko cooled down a little, before she turned and gazed over to the sky. "Sorry," she said. "Rumors are always the killer..." Aiko muttered softly. *** "Don't you guys want to find Aiko?" Riko asked, as she sat on the chair, and etched her eyebrows towards Yuto and Ryousuke. Ryousuke's head was lowered, as he stared blankly onto the ground. Yuto just kept his eyes fixed on Ryousuke, as he looked up and down. "I think..." Ryousuke mumbled, before he got up again, "I'll go find her," Ryousuke said, before he got up, and ran. Yuto turned to Riko, before he pulled Riko by the wrist. "We should follow," Riko reluctantly followed after. Ryousuke had a feeling that Aiko will run to the rooftop. After all, Aiko have mentioned before that she feel calm at high places. He barged into the rooftop, and he saw the figures standing at the railings. One of them, appeared to be a guy. He looked at the door, whispered something, before he walked pass Ryousuke, and left the place. "Ai.. ko?" Ryousuke mumbled, as he walked forward to the other figure at the railings. Turning around, she looked at Ryousuke, with her tear-stained face. "Ryo-chan..." she mumbled, as she stared at Ryousuke, her tears falling down again. Ryousuke immediately run all the way to the said girl, and hugged the girl into his embrace. Right after that, Riko and Yuto arrived at the door of the rooftop, and saw the scene. Yuto himself probably didn't realize it, but Riko saw it. Yuto's hands were shivering. *** "Ryo-chan... I'm sorry..." Aiko mumbled, as Ryousuke patted her head. Somehow, it ended up Aiko lying on Ryousuke's shoulder after a long and tiring day. With the wind blowing, Aiko and Ryousuke sat at the rooftop, enjoying the sunset. "It's my fault... all because of me that you've got bullied, and I didn't even know about it..." "What a bad boyfriend I am..." Ryousuke said, as he fiddled with Aiko's hair. Aiko just forced a smile. "Aiko, no matter what happen, I won't let anything to happen to you again," Ryousuke said, as he held tightly onto Aiko's hand.. Ever again... Labels: anata no mono |
