<< CHAPTER NINETEEN                                            CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE >>

“I should go to work now…” Masuda said before he struggled to get up from his bed. The truth on Tegoshi has not yet settled inside his head. It’s too complicated, and he just doesn’t want to face it.

As he opened the door of his company, the first one to approach him is one of his subordinate.

“Masuda-san! Where have you been for the last whole week?! We’ve all been trying to contact you!”

“I’m sorry, just some business to take care of. What’s wrong?” Masuda asked, as he entered his office, and placed down his bag and outerwear. “There’s a lot of documents that needs your approval! Tegoshi-san, Koyama-san, and Shige-san suddenly all left the company! We couldn’t find any upper head, and client have been complaining!” his subordinate started blabbering.

Masuda looked towards the empty office, before he told his subordinate to leave the documents onto the table.

“Sho, I’ve finally found you,” Tegoshi said as he looked at that figure, whose hand were just above that human’s head. “Stop it!” Tegoshi shouted.

Koyama and Shige appeared right beside Tegoshi. “SHO!” Tegoshi shouted again. Suddenly, the spasm of pain overtook him, and he struggled. His vision was blur, and he couldn’t see anything. “Tego, you shouldn’t force yourself,” Sho spoke, before he released the human, and went over to Tego’s side. “You do know clearly why ain’t you killing me, even after so many years,”

Sho disappeared.

“Tegoshi, wha… what did he mean by that?” Shige asked. Koyama tried to stop Shige, but Tegoshi have replied by then. “Sho… he wants to take over this world. He wants to kill all mankind on earth. Sho… he was the one that killed us,”

“You… You knew it all along?”

“It was only recently that I knew, that the murderer we’ve been looking for, is Sho. He wad supposed to be locked up at the dungeon down from this world, but… he escaped,” Tegoshi said, as he settled down onto the ground, leaning his body against the bark of the tree.

Shige looked at Koyama, who by then have came and hugged him. “Tegoshi, what are you going to do now?”

“I’m going to find Sho,” Tegoshi said, before clenching his fist, and going back to the studio.

“So… Tegoshi really ain’t going to come back?” Yamapi asked. “I guess so… since I’ve told Shiroi-chan that Tegoshi is long dead… I don’t think he’ll come back anymore… anyway,” Ryo said, as he cracked the egg into the bowl. Yamapi settled down on the stool inside the kitchen and continued looking at what Ryo was doing.

“You really love Tegoshi, don’t you?” Yamapi asked, before Ryo smiled. “Obviously, he’s my only brother,”

Tegoshi continued to search for Sho’s whereabouts using the computer tracker. It was nearly impossible since Sho’s power is stronger than his, but there is still a chance. Koyama and Shige just looked at each other, before they decided to leave Tegoshi alone.

Without knowing, both of them ended up appearing at their old company. The office they were in didn’t change. They continued exploring the inside, before they saw a light coming from that room. “MASUDA!” Shige shouted, before appearing in front of the boy. “Stop that,” Masuda said coldly, as he went on pressing on his keyboard. “Jeez, that’s boring,” Shige pouted, before he went over to the sofa inside Masuda’s room and sat on it. Koyama looked at what Masuda was doing. “Need help?”

“Nope. If you do it, everyone will realize. So I rather you just sit there quietly like what Shige is going right now,” Masuda paused, and looked up at them. “Or just leave me alone,”

“Tch. That’s so unfriendly. We used to be friends!” Koyama said, before he started to float around inside Masuda’s room. “That’s the past. When I first know you, you were already a ghost, Koyama,”

“Why don’t you just go to Tegoshi and stop bothering me,” Masuda said, before he continued typing onto his keyboard. “Tego---” before Koyama could continue, Shige have immediately gave Koyama that look. No, it wasn’t because of what Koyama had said, it was because they’ve receieved a signal from Tegoshi.

“Guys, I’ve tracked down Sho. Come back!”

Both of them disappeared instantly.

Masuda shake his head before he go back to do his work. But somehow, Koyama’s expression has made him worried a lot. What was Koyama going to say about Tegoshi? Did something happened to Tegoshi?

***
Tegoshi looked at the screens in front of him, and the next moment, he sensed Koyama and Shige existence, and hurriedly showed them the clip. “Sho is on it again, we need to hurry….” Koyama and Shige nodded, and disappeared again. Tegoshi looked to the screen, and muttered, “I don’t have much time left,”

***
Koyama and Shige appeared in front of the place, and he saw that black figure have already started to launch an attack on that human that passed by him. “STOP!” Shige shouted, before he flew there, and held Sho’s arms. Koyama helped the human up, and placed her at the side.

“Tch. If you guys have no plans to help me, don’t get in my way,” Sho said, before he jerked off Shige’s grip.

“Sho,” Tegoshi said, before he appeared in front of him. “Tego? You again? Don’t you know if you deal with me, you’ll die,”

“Sho, no matter what, even if it costs my life, I will not... not surrender to you,” Tegoshi said. “Still as stubborn as before. Oh well, that’s what I like about you,” Sho smiled. “But sorry, Tego. I won’t let you go if you interfere with me again,”

Sho disappeared.

“I’ll use that mana the next time we meet Sho,” Tegoshi said, as he took out the stick in his pocket. “Mana?! You.. You’ll die, Tegoshi. There is definitely another method,” Koyama said.

Tegoshi shake his head, before he went off.
