The both of them continued walking on the streets, in search for the girl that was supposedly to be with them. “Where did Aiko-san go to?” Riko wondered, looking around frantically for her on the streets.
Chinen pondered, before he remembered what he told to Aiko. ‘Is it my fault? But all I said was just a warning… Or she felt guilty?’
“CHINEN YURI! What the hell are you thinking! Find for Aiko-san, you idiot!” A smack on his head, and he just rubbed the area while he looked around for the familiar face.
The sky started to darken, and as each hour pass by, the two of them got more worried. “Should we inform Takaki-senpai about it?” Riko asked. “Do you have his number?” Chinen questioned back, before Riko sighed, and went sitting down on the bench, dejected. “What should we do? We don’t even know where Aiko-san’s house is, or that I don’t even have her number…”
“Leave her alone, she’s already grown up,” Chinen shake his head.
Just when both of them decided to go home, a familiar figure was seen walking towards them with a bunch of people surrounding it. “TAKAKI-SENPAI!” Riko shouted, and Takaki have immediately turned.
“Oh… you’re…” Takaki thought back for a while, before Riko helped him. “Takasugi Riko, the one who accidentally banged into Aiko-san on the----” she stopped. That was a bad way to start a self introduction.“Anyway! There is a much more important thing to say!”
Chinen placed his hand onto Riko’s shoulder, before Riko have looked up. By then, Takaki was actually talking to the other people that was around him, and completely ignored her.
“AIKO-SAN IS MISSING!” Riko shouted. Takaki immediately stopped what he was doing and went up to Riko, his face just a few inches away from her face. “What happen!?”
Riko and Chinen looked at each other, before Riko started to explain everything from the start.
Takaki hurriedly demanded from Riko her phone as he transferred both their numbers to each other. Takaki then tugged his phone back into his pockets, and rushed off while shouting to Riko. “I’ll call you if I found her!”
His figure disappeared.
“We should continue looking for her!” Riko grabbed onto Chinen’s wrist, and run off in the other direction.

The sky was dark. There was hardly any star. Aiko hid herself at the playground not far away from school, and continue staying there till she settles her feelings down.
Those words flashed inside her head as she remembered what Chinen Yuri said to her. No, it wasn’t meant to be that way. All she wanted was just to live a normal student life. Not a popular student life.
“SUGIHARA AIKO!” a voice was heard, and Aiko have immediately popped out. She turned, and realized it was none other than Takaki.
“Taka-kun… Why?”
“You moron! I told you not to worry me right?!” he shouted, before running towards where she was, and grabbing onto her arm, pulling her in for a hug.
“LET ME GO!” she shouted, before attempting to push Takaki away. “Aiko?”
There was never been once that Aiko had rejected his hug. He wasn’t trying to act almighty here, but there really isn’t one time at all.
“Why!? Why is my world always revolving around yours?! Why is everyone seeing me as the ‘compatible’ one for you? Why can’t they treat me as a normal girl, because all they thought of was you beside me? Nobody understands me, not even you, Taka-kun!” she screamed, tears at the tip of her eyes.
Takaki clenched his fist, before turned around. “Let’s go home, auntie would be worried,”
Aiko gritted her teeth, before she grabbed her bag, and runs off to her house without waiting for Takaki. Takaki sighed, before taking out his phone, and dialing the number he got just now.
“Moshi moshi, Takasugi?”
“Takaki-senpai! You found Aiko-san?”
“Yea, thanks for informing me. Do you mind me asking a question?”
“Sure!”
“How… How do I make sure to tell someone that I see her as an individual alone… no matter what others say?”
“Hmm… I don’t really understand what you’re talking about, but… if you really want to tell that person, just say it to her. Well… people won’t know what you’re thinking if you don’t say it out in words honestly right?”
Takaki smiled. Who have thought that one day he would be saved by Riko’s words?
“Thank you, Riko, have a good night,”
The phone line went dead. Riko stared at her phone, before she shut it down. “Chinen… this isn’t a dream right?”
“Huh?”
“TAKAKI-SENPAI CALLED ME RIKO! HE CALLED ME RIKO!” Riko squealed, before grabbing onto Chinen and doing a merry go round dance in the middle of the streets.

“Good morning, Aiko-san!” that energetic voice have greeted Aiko, and she turned and smiled. “Morning, Riko-chan,”
“I’m sorry about yesterday, how about a make up today after school? I’ll treat,” Aiko asked, before she placed her finger onto her lips. “But keep it a secret from Chinen-san, all right?”
Riko nodded her head, before changing her shoes to indoor, and running off to her classroom. Aiko smiled, as she put her outdoor shoes into her locker. “AHHH! IT’S TAKAKI-SENPAI!” the voices could be heard.
Aiko’s heart thumped slightly. Takaki and the crowd by then have walked into the shoe locker area, and everybody started to notice Aiko and shouted her name too. Without greeting Takaki, she took up her bag, and walked off. This action made everyone kept quiet, as they continue to see how calmly did Takaki changed his shoes and walked off like nothing happened.
“Something is definitely wrong with Takaki-senpai and Sugihara-san!”
