<< CHAPTER ONE                                                                                 CHAPTER THREE >>

The wind got stronger as the girl held onto her hat tighter. She smiled towards Chinen, with the gentle voice that she used to talk to Chinen, “I’ll need to go now,”

She smiled, and walked passed Chinen. Chine stared blankly into the air, not doing anything. Minutes later, he fall to the ground. He stoned for a few more minutes, before he got up, and went over to the fence. As he glanced down, he saw another figure beside Aiko. There’s no mistake, it’s Saito Hiroyuki. She was smiling towards Hiroyuki, as her hand grabbed onto his arms.

Chinen grabbed the fence tightly, till there were blood clots in his hands. He looked, and Hiroyuki have placed his hands over her shoulder, before they got into the car parked at the side. Chinen clenched his fist, and punched the fence. The fence bounced back, and cut his hand. The injury spilt, and the red liquid started flowing out. Yet, he still continued to curse and swear, before he left the rooftop.

“Chii! Did you found Aiko?” Riko caught sight of Chinen, and started to run towards him. All she saw was, his head was down, his first bleeding. Riko’s eyes widened, and hurriedly took out her handkerchief, and took over Chinen’s hand, and use it to wrap around the injury. “Chii! What happened?” Riko asked, shaking him. Chinen just shake his head, and walked off.

Riko just ran after him, not saying anything.

Yuto and Yamada was at the side, observing Riko and Chinen. “Yu, why don’t we go up?” Yamada asked, tugging Yuto’s shirt. Yuto just grabbed onto Yamada’s hand, and softly said, “We shouldn’t trouble Chinen any further, it’s okay, Riko will be with him, he’ll be fine,”

Yamada nodded his head, as a form of understanding. Yuto then dragged him away. “Anyway, since today outing turned out like this, let me bring you to our shared apartment!”

“EH!? It’s already decided!? I thought we only agreed on it this morning?!” Yamada screamed, as he tried to catch up with Yuto’s pace. Yuto smirked, oh well, you never know what is going on inside this younger boy’s head.

The apartment was located just a few streets down from their university. The place was quite a normal area, where usually all students are staying there. The house was rather small, but it was big enough to accommodate two people of course. Yamada walked around, and observed at the room. He realized there were only one room, and one bed. “Yu.. Yuto!” Yamada shouted. Yuto hurriedly came over to the entrance of the room. “WHAT’S THIS!!?” Yamada asked, pointing towards the queen size bed. “Eh? What’s this? We’re sleeping together of course,”

“EH!?!”

“Didn’t you want that?” Yuto asked again, his hand resting onto Yamada’s shoulder. Yamada hurriedly blushed and turned away. “Of course not! That’s not what I meant!” Yuto smirked. This older boy is too easy to read.

“Chinen Yuri!” Riko screamed out in anger. She just felt so angry, without her knowing anything. Chinen stopped, and turned around. “I’m sorry, Riko. Can… I have some time alone?” Riko sighed, and shake her head. “Fine, just don’t do anything stupid,”

Chinen laughed softly. “I won’t,”

Riko waved her hands, and went off, not probing any further.

The next day in school, the four met at the canteen to have their breakfast before they went for their individual lessons. “Yamada, Yuto, where did both of you went yesterday?” Riko asked, taking one bite of her peanut butter spread. The both of them looked at each other, before Yamada turned away. Yuto looked back at Riko, and he placed his index finger onto his own lips. “Shh, when the time is ripe, I’ll tell you,”

Riko slightly pouted, and shrugged her shoulder, before she continued to bite her bread. Biting, she looked at the side, and realized Chinen was better as compared to yesterday. The injury from his hand was nicely bandaged as well. Riko smiled, and continued eating her bread, acting like she know nothing.

“Alright, so we’ll meet here again after school!” Yuto announced, before he went off for his lessons. Yamada nodded his head, and head off to the opposite direction. Riko and Chinen looked at each other, before they started walking. Although they’re different departments, their courses were quite near to each other, so they would always walk to their individual blocks together.

As they were chatting randomly, like how mysterious Yuto is acting, someone accidentally bumped into Chinen, causing Chinen to fall to the ground, and the books flying around.

“Ah! I’m sorry,” the person replied. Riko turned, and realized that a girl who have fallen on the ground was frantically picking up her books, and another guy was just right beside her.

“Here,” Chinen passed over the books to the girl. The girl stood up, and her face was revealed.
Sugihara Aiko.

“Ai.. Aiko?” Riko mumbled. Aiko looked towards Riko, and said the same thing.
“Do.. I know you?”

‘Amnesia’, that was the first word that came across Chinen’s mind when he heard her saying this sentence. There was no other reason he could find anymore.

“Ri.. RIko? Long time no see,” the boy who was helping to pick up the books walk over, and pass the books over to Aiko. “Saito..?”

Hiroyuki looked over to Chinen, then towards Riko. Smiling bitterly, he held onto Aiko’s shoulder, before excusing themselves, and walking away, without any explanation.

“Then… I’ll get going first,” Riko muttered, before she walked off. Chinen turned around, and saw Aiko’s back, before he sighed, and went to his class.

“What is Aiko doing with Saito? What..” Riko mumbled to herself. Tons and tons of questions were overwhelming her, and she just didn’t know how to answer at all. Without looking, she have accidentally bumped into the wall, causing her to fall right onto her buttock.

“OUCH!” She screamed. The students around her looked at her, before giggling at her silly action, yet nobody came to help. She pouted. “Ah! Just my day. Just now was Chii who bumped, and now it’s my turn!” She grumbled, as she struggled to get up. Then, a hand was seen.

Riko looked up, and realized a boy that looks around the same age as her was smiling towards her, with his hand still in front of her.  She stretched out and reached for the hand. The boy was rather strong, and in a pull, Riko was brought up. “Thank you,” Riko mumbled, looking at the boy.

“I’m.. Takasugi Riko, nice to meet you!” Riko bowed her head down, as she greeted the boy. The boy still smiled elegantly, and finally he spoke. RIko sweared, that his voice could totally mesmerized every single person, including herself.

“I’m Nakajima Kento, are you okay?” He was still smiling. Riko was dazing away. Nakajima Kento, the name sounds too familiar. “Nakajima? Naka..Nakajima..! AH!! NAKAJIMA! That’s Yuto’s surname!” Riko blurted out. Realiing she have said it out loud, she quickly covered her mouth with both of her hand. Kento looked at her, before bursting into laughter.

“Hahah! Takasugi-san, you’re an interesting person. Nakajima Yuto, he’s my senior in Johnny. We’re in the same company,” Kento bended down and whispered into Riko’s ears. “I’m an idol, although not that recognizable,”

“I know you! I remember you!” Riko shouted again, which caught the attention of the students passing by again. “You’re.. in B.I Shadow right!”

Kento just smiled, and nodded his head. Riko stretched out her hand. “Yoroshiku!”  Kento shake her hand, “You’re really an interesting person,”

Riko then looked at her watch. “Ah! I’m going to be late for lesson! I’ll get going! See you soon, Nakajima-san!”

“Takasugi-san! Wait!” Kento stopped Riko. Riko turned around, and gave his a questioning look. Taking out from his pocket, a pen and a small paper, he wrote something on it before passing it over to Riko. “Contact me, it’s a must,” He pushed the paper over to Riko, before he picked up his bag that he have dropped onto the floor before, and headed off. Riko picked up the paper, and realized that Kento have written down his handphone number.

Is this… a date!?!?
